China Display Joins Supply Chain of World's Leading Smartphone Brand

Strengthen Synergies with Shenzhen CSOT with Production Line Certified by Prominent Client

HONG KONG, CHINA - Media OutReach - 14 September 2018 - China Display Optoelectronics Technology Holdings Limited ("Ch Display Opt" or the "Company", together with its subsidiaries, the "Group"; HKSE stock code: 334) is pleased to announce that the production line operated by China Display Optoelectronics Technology (Huizhou) Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, has passed the qualification requirements of one of the world's leading smartphone manufacturers, and is qualified to produce display module products to be used in the end products of the said smartphone manufacturer.

As a part of the Group's sustained efforts in strengthening cooperation with Shenzhen China Star Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd ("Shenzhen CSOT"), the qualification of the Group's production line will enable it to expand its end customer base. It is estimated that orders from the new end customer will account for approximately 10-20% of the Group's overall sales in 2018, bringing positive impact to the future development of the Company in the long run.

The Management of Ch Display Opt said, "The cooperation with the renowned smartphone client signifies a major achievement between the Group and Shenzhen CSOT in seeking synergies and pursuing new customers.
